LIPOFINAGEN is a product designed to further improve tolerability of finasteride topical solutions. This stems from the fact that hydroxypropyl chitosan based vehicle might prevent systemic absorption of finasteride in significant amounts by trapping finasteride molecules in liposomes, keeping exposure localized.
It reduces up to 60% of scalp DHT by blocking the 5 alpha-reductase enzyme locally while causing a insignificant decline of serum DHT levels which reduces the chances of side effects (which are very low to begin with) reported on oral finasteride or higher concentration.
Our products are produced and designed by licensed compounding pharmacy. Raw materials are pharmaceutical grade. Concentrations of active ingredients are standardized at 0.025% finasteride equivalent to 0.25 mg finasteride per 1 ml of solution.
