One quick glance at the official bugs for Madden 22 indicates that players still have serious issues, and Franchise is among the worst affected. The most difficult problems for the majority of players are the ones that make the single Franchise save essentially unplayable, and one player is trapped in a loop that crashes following a game.
There have also been several that have an strange "you are already the commissioner of 20 leagues" mistake when trying to establish a Cloud Franchise despite not being the commissioner of any. Many users have complained of issues concerning Madden 22's Fantasy Draft in Madden 22, while others have had an Online Franchise drop them back to the Draft.
The issues listed above are only scratching the surface of the problem, as players have discovered lingering problems in Online H2H, Face of the Franchise, The Yard, Ultimate Team, and general freezing and crashes have occurred all over the title. It is unclear which of these will be addressed in Madden 22 title update 2.04 however, we will learn when the official patch notes are released.
Madden 22 released Ultimate Season 1 with the release of the game, and although it was technically already available on August 12 through the EA Play Trial, the official launch date was August 20, 2021.
As last year we witnessed each MUT Series land between 30 to 40 days in average, it appears to be extended significantly this year. While a date for the end of the season has not been made official, EA stated in the launch of Madden 22 The new Ultimate Season model would aim to make each season last around 90 days.
